On Tuesday, March 28th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Panera Bread will be donating 20% of all sales ( if you show our event flyer in person on your phone) to Sunrise.
All proceeds will go to our New Playground Equipment Fundraiser.
At the end of last summer, we found out that our current playground had rotten wood and was no longer safe to be played on. We reached out to the manufacturer and the replacement parts we needed were no longer available.
This time, we are looking at playground with powder-coated rubberized steel which will hopefully hold up better in Iowa weather than the previous wooden playground.
We know it was hard last fall not having playground equipment as families visited their loved ones on campus.
