Join us on April 20th at noon as Siouxland Philanthropy hosts our April Lunch & Learn:
"Emotional Intelligence and How it Relates to Philanthropy"
Presented by Northwest Iowa Community College's Denise Truckenmiller

In the simplest terms, fundraising is a meeting of needs. It is more complex than that…or is it?  It’s building a community of people with similar interests and goals. Knowing your donors translates into understanding their individual stories, interests, and needs and seeing how you can help fulfill them. These skills—the ability to connect with donors, understand them, and inspire them to act are finely interwoven with Emotional Intelligence.

In-Person Location: This presentation will be available via Zoom or in person. To join in person, the event will be held in the Wealth Management Conference Room on the 6th floor of Security National Bank's downtown location (601 Pierce St, Sioux City, IA 51101). RSVPs and meal choices are required BEFORE 9am on Monday, April 19 for all in-person attendees.
